Let’s Plan Your Big Day, Stress Free!

Our role in your special day – Included in the Venue Hire

  • Utilizing whatever areas and buildings you choose on the Uitsig grounds for your wedding or event.
  • Set-up of all areas for the ceremony, pre-dinner drinks and reception, including laying of your tables according to your table plan / other specifications.
  • A fully functional Bar area with credit card facilities will be available. (Although service staff e.g. Barmen will be an additional expense.)
  • Your On-the-day schedule. This is a clear timeline / chronological flow of all the special moments in your big day, drawn up with you and communicated to all important parties involved, e.g. the Kitchen and Service staff. (A more comprehensive on-the-day Coordination service is also available on request, but not included in the venue hire.)
  • A generator will keep us powered through any unwelcome power failures at no additional cost.

Additional Expenses

Catering

All catering will strictly be done by Uitsig Venue according to your budget / specifications.  A bespoke catering division headed by our highly skilled team of chefs. Together, you and Uitsig will have the opportunity to create a very personal culinary experience, designed to highlight every area for your guests.

This service includes the following:

  • A well-planned list of courses for plated or buffet / harvest table-style events,
  • Catering for particular dietary requirements such as Vegetarian and Vegan,
  • Specialised food services such as food truck serving, dessert stations etc,

    (Exceptions can be requested for smaller events.)

Service Staff

A professional service team of waitrons and barmen will be on hand for food and beverage serving. The number of staff members will be determined by Uitsig according to the number of guests, in order to ensure a well-executed level of service.

The number of service professionals are usually based on:

  • 1 x Waitron per 8 – 10 guests for a plated menu
  • 1 x Waitron per 20 guests for a harvest table menu
  • 1 x Barman for every 30 – 40 guests.

All beverage, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, to be purchased through Uitsig. Should the Bridal party have very specific requests regarding wines / sparkling wines, Uitsig will do our utmost to accommodate these requests. Alternatively, other options with similar character traits will be on offer. In the event that Uitsig is unable to provide specific requested wines or spiritus, the client will be allowed to bring in their own selection, subject to a Corkage Fee (Uitsig T’s and C’s will apply.)

Floral Décor & Hiring

A comprehensive floral décor and hiring service provided by our team of passionate creatives, specialising in the art of floristry for weddings and events. With years of experience in the events industry, our team will help design and create your ideal picture, whether it be…

  • Lavish clouds of fresh flowers for the ultimate romantic,
  • Botanical hanging installations for the more avant-garde,
  • Or understated, single-stem floral detail for the minimalist.

Sprouting from our love for all things beautiful, our additional hiring list also includes an endless array of décor elements such as crystal and coloured glassware, gold cutlery, old-master printed table linen, antique silver candelabras and everything in between.

Any items that we do not have in our own hiring catalogue, will be sourced in order to accommodate the client’s look and feel.

Uitsig will create a magical ambience through breathtakingly, beautiful flowers and complimenting décor elements, adding to the already picturesque setting.

Please note that we do not have a minimum spenditure with regards to floral décor and hiring as it is our policy to work with every client’s budget, in order to make your day memorable.

An Optional “On-the-day” Coordination Service:

Uitsig also offers a comprehensive On-the-day Coordination Service which entails the entire event to be managed by an on-site Wedding Coordinator, from start to finish. This service will be discussed in detail and quoted for separately, based on the client’s requirements.

Fireplace and Outside Pits:

The fireplace and outside pits will only be lit on request. An additional cost of R150 per pit will apply.

Your Responsibility

Herewith a few services not offered by the amazingly talented team of Uitsig Venue. These services can however be booked / organised by us, should it form part of your look and feel / décor or culinary experience.

 

  • Additional / specialised / ambient Lighting,
  • Wedding cake involving intricate sugar work,
  • A built dancefloor / additional flooring,
  • Tent structures for large outside events.
  • Please note that a basic handling fee will apply for organising these services on your behalf.
